If you have concerns about any of your trees then we can carry-out a thorough ground or climbing inspection. We can report on various aspects including the structural stability of the tree, any health problems, and its impact on surrounding buildings or other structures.
As an individual tree is the product of its environment then a look at the overall picture can reveal the cause of disease or indicate potential problems. The first step therefore is to establish a site history. For example have other trees or groups been removed leaving others exposed? Or has there been disturbance to roots from construction or underground service installation?
Inspection begins at ground level looking at the soil and tree roots followed by above ground observation. The method used is The Visual Tree Assessment Method developed by Claus Mattheck and colleagues.
Potential solutions to problems may be pruning, de-compaction of soil, mulching or fertilization, bracing/cabling, tree removal.
